The System of Affects is dedicated to the healing and reparative power of feeling. Affection is understood both as a noun—a state that transforms sensations into emotions, and emotions into relationships—and as a verb: to be moved, touched, or struck by other forces. Within this system of relationships, meanings, and senses, we seek balance and new functions by refining our antennae of feeling and designing new agoras of presence—spaces capable of welcoming requests, diversions, and even interferences as practices of heightened attention.
