Booster is a research project that aims to flood individual processes within the margins of others’ processes, mixing, hybridizing and bastardizing subjects and authorship. The intent is to create a horizontal zone of analysis, comparison, and reciprocity where choreographers exchange materials, research, practices, works, and objects of interest. The goal is to give space to a process of homogenization of knowledge and perception of the other and, specifically, of their work, in order to grasp and name the founding pillars and strengths of individual choreographic processes and artistic discourses.
The foundation of the work is the operation of boosting, or rather the dismantling and relocation of different authorships in a fortified, enhanced, exploded sense. The attitude of exchange is what defines the how and not the what.
With a view to alliance, we want to allow ourselves a space for self-curation, defined within the boundaries of closeness, friendship and harmony. This apparatus arises from proximity and offers itself as a basis and support for the flourishing of new acquaintances, connections, and relationships in a shared and expanded temporality.

Fabritia D’Intino, choreographer and dancer, curated and coordinated the Barcelona International Dance Exchange (BIDE) in Spain from 2013 to 2019. Her choreographic works, often in collaboration with other artists, have been awarded prizes and presented in various international contexts such as Théâtre De La Ville, Sadler’s Wells, Festival Le Grand Bain, Dance City UK, Festival OFF d’Avignon, Sismograf Olot, Mons arts de la scène, Teatri di Vetro, Festival Interplay, Danza Urbana, Centro Pecci, Lavanderia a Vapore, Bolzano Danza, B-Motion, Festival Danza Estate and selected for platforms such as Danse Élargie, PSO – La Grande Scène, Vetrina Anticorpi and NID Platform. Her research mainly focuses on the relationship between body, gaze, and representation. In addition to creating for the stage and site-specific projects, she is involved in training, developing participatory projects, and research formats. As a dancer, she also collaborates with various choreographers and visual artists. Since 2018, she has been a member of Catsandsnails (France) and Chiasma (Rome).

Vincent Giampino, choreographer and performer, trained in Italy and Germany. His early works were shown in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and in 2017, a work he co-created with his colleague Oneka Von Schrader was a finalist for the Prix Jardin d’Europe at Impulstanz in Vienna. Returning to Italy in 2018, he presented his creations in theaters and festivals including Fabbrica Europa and Teatro Florida in Florence; Gender Bender in Bologna; Short Theatre, Teatri di Vetro, and Buffalo in Rome. In 2021, he participated in the open-air installation of Live Arts Week X in Bologna. He has collaborated with artists, choreographers, and musicians including Greta Francolini, Cristina Kristal Rizzo, Edoardo Ciaralli, and Lady Maru. Giampino is interested in defining a system of ‘choreographic poverty’ around a light bodily object, stupidly abandoned to simplicity, which unlearns self-display.
