CARING WITH, INTERDEPENDENCE IS COOL

Care is our individual and collective ability to establish the political, social, material and emotional conditions necessary for most people and living creatures on the planet to thrive alongside the planet itself.
The Care Collective

Caring with…. It aims to be a morning of play for adults and children. A gentle meeting space in which to think with the body, train listening skills and relax the muscles of responsibility by handing over the reins to children, activating micro-revolutions through play.
How can we coexist in diversity? How can we loosen the idea of control and generate new postures? How can we dismantle inherent dynamics of power and oppression? How can we feel good in complexity?
We open a field of reflection and participatory discussion around care as an attitude of reciprocity, slowness and non-performativity that regenerates people, relationships and communities in a time increasingly constrained by the rigid meshes of productivity.
The invitation is open to anyone, it is not necessary to have parental responsibility. Even the role of external (internal) observer is considered in support of the project itself.

Michela Depetris è autrice e performer. Vive a Torino. Lavora con linguaggi ibridi tra danza, scrittura, video, suono e installazioni partecipative, situando la sua ricerca in un campo aperto e misto in cui ogni mezzo porta con sé sempre e comunque le pratiche corporee con una visione espansa della coreografia. Progetta dispositivi coreografico-performativi come potenziali detonatori di micro rivoluzioni temporanee.
