What does it mean today to coexist in a reality that borders on the unreal? Can chaos take the form of a new tomorrow? In the name of darkness, magic and vulnerability is a call to exercise the ability to imagine the future through the darkness of space. It is a participatory device that allows the audience to experience the choreography, blurring the lines between agent and action and playing with randomness. It reflects on coexistence, cooperation, and visionary power by creating a temporary environment that is the result of joint efforts, encouraging perception in the pauses by pouring the invisible into the visible.

Michela Depetris is an author and performer. She lives in Turin. She works with hybrid languages combining dance, writing, video, sound and participatory installations, situating her research in an open and mixed field in which every medium always and in any case involves bodily practices with an expanded vision of choreography. She designs choreographic-performative devices as potential detonators of temporary micro-revolutions.
