LO SGUARDO TRASVERSALE – advanced level

theoretical and practical training aimed to dance schools’ students (over 14)
led by Nicola Galli

LO SGUARDO TRASVERSALE is the training class created by the choreographer Nicola Galli, which explores the literary work De rerum natura by Tito Lucrezio Caro, leading the participants – armed with an effectual reading instrument – through the vision of the homonymous dance show.

The training class is divided into an introductory phase, in which the notions of origin, space, weight, gravity and emptiness will be presented and argued thanks to the critical reading of Lucretious’ work and the support of audiovisual materials, to then be transposed into a practical experimentation, through the improvisation method aimed at generating a choral movement.
