A few hours in a park, a picnic in the middle of spring, on the outskirts of the city. Children play among the trees, adults lie down and chat.
On the one hand, the running, the indecipherable gestures, the invented games, the constant making and unmaking of symbols and rules within a self-determined time, immersed in the seduction of the world, of the open, of being in relationship. On the other, an exercise of gaze that does not control but contemplates, that welcomes what is outside of its control and ultimately questions its own adulthood.
What produces the proximity between the two worlds? What separates them and what brings them together? Questions, glances, expectations, and reflections that perhaps we could also call theater.

DOM- is a research project born in 2013 from the collaboration of the artists Leonardo Delogu and Valerio Sirna. Over the years other artists and researchers has gathered the collective, changing its shape depending on the project: Heléne Gautier, Mael Veisse, Arianna Lodeserto.
DOM- investigates the language of performing arts, contaminating it with the Environmental Humanities’ militant approach and the issues and imaginaries of feminist and queer ecologies. Its practice revolves around the relation between bodies and landscapes, questioning the tangle of permeability, and observing how power, nature and marginality interact in the public space.
It engages in the transmission of peculiar in-habiting practices, linked to the space and time of artistic creation and territorial planning.
The interest of DOM- is often directed to the exploration of hybrid formats that arise from synergy and listening to the forces in the field, human and non-human, meteorological and compositional, mythological and future.

Starting from a research process that explores the reproduction of life and the relationship between the adult world and the world of childhood, the artistic duo DOM- opens up to the sharing of materials, references, and practices. Lying down in a meadow, we will create together a space of intimacy and reflection in which to share the story of a time when memory, invention, and reality intertwine. An exercise in collective memory, a practice of storytelling and self-awareness to look back at one’s childhood, the first discoveries related to the body, the emergence of desire, the search for the other.
