INTERNATIONAL CAMPUS on POST PRODUCTION promoted by COORPI in collaboration with STÉLA – DAN.CIN.LAB (FR); MALAKTA FILMS (FI); TANZRAUSCHEN e.V. (DE) e MØZ (GR) with Alla Kovgan, director (US) and Flavio Armone – Lights On International Short Film Distributor (Torino) and the mAPs’ artists & producers
Supported by Creative Europe Program from 2019, mAPs is a cooperation project between five European countries which aims at supporting and guiding professional artists in the production, promotion and distribution of 4 dance films and a documentary focused on issues of contemporary social relevance, with a strong ethical imprint, directly involving the reference communities within the whole creative and development path of the project. Partners promoting the project in addition to COORPI are: STÉLA – DAN.CIN.LAB (FR); MALAKTA FILMS (FI); TANZRAUSCHEN e.V. (DE) and MØZ (GR). For this first edition, the mAPs film collection will focus on the theme of POWER, declined in specific sub-themes within the single territories involved. For Italy the chosen sub-theme is: POWER & DATA.
mAPs consists of:
– a production process of 5 original dance films
– an international tutoring process for the selected authors and artists to support the production process of the mAPs films, through 3 international residential campuses with the collaboration of local and international professionals (Online: SCREENWRITING, Online: PRODUCTION/PREPARATION, Italy: POST-PRODUCTION)
– an inclusive programme of activities aimed at directly involving local communities
– an effective product placement strategy for the distribution of the mAPs films and for the dissemination of the project know-how as a quality brand (February – May 2022).
COORPI is partner and executive producer of the Italian short dance film in production and co-producer of the documentary SEARCHING FOR PHOENIX, also filmed in Turin within the set of the Royal Palace and the Chapel of the Holy Shroud.
