The accident. The announced show cannot take place. We will have to make do with what we have, dance what we can dance. In a different way. The show will go on. Somehow.<br \/>\nStarting from a physical injury, a new choreography develops based on constraint and the unpredictable. We thus witness a eulogy to minimalism that opposes the capitalist logic that pushes for the complete exhaustion of resources.<br \/>\nIn dialogue with Jonathan Burrows&#8217; choreographer&#8217;s \u201cManuel,\u201d Thalia offers us uneven reflections on the difficulty of moving forward, on stage and in life.<\/h4>\n<h5>Choreographer and performer, with a degree in dramaturgy from the \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure, <strong>Thalia Pigier<\/strong> founded the company Projet Total in 2021. She is an artist associated with the European interdisciplinary research program Circus Without Circus and Live Works&#8217; Fellow at Centrale Fies (IT) in 21-23. She created \u201cLe Soleil de Minuit,\u201d a traveling performance in public spaces for six dancers for Nuit Blanche 2023. In 2024, she created \u201cCelle qui part n&#8217;est pas disparue\u201d at the Operaestate Festival in Bassano del Grappa, a solo accompanied by electric guitar that deals with cultural heritage, the memory of marginalized bodies, and attempts at flight. This piece echoes a series of performances entitled \u201cTENTATIVES D&#8217;ENVOL,\u201d 2018. In 2024, she is a finalist, with \u201cLa Danse de la jeunesse,\u201d at the Solo Tanz Theater International Festival in Stuttgart. She is also the winner of the Beaumarchais scholarship for Of Gold and Mud 26-27.<br \/>\nEnriched by her triple French-Colombian-queer culture, she works on the relationships between movement and words, plants and performers in her creations.
