The artists selected for Research Camping 2026 – Shifting Bodies are Paola Lesina and Vittoria Assembri, Falive (somatic and electroacoustic improvisations), Leonardo Barbierato, Delfina Stella, Asya Ashman, Stefania Carvisiglia, Amalia Franco, Daniele Ninarello, Magdalena Ptasznik, Edoardo Mozzanega, Beatrice Biondi and Benedetta Leso, Mariela Nestora, Giulia Raffaelli, Collettivo Haraka, Violetta Cottini, and Wenlin Tan.
The fifth edition of Research Camping, curated by Lavanderia a Vapore and Workspace Ricerca X, is scheduled for November 27–29, 2026. It will transform the spaces of the Lavanderia a Vapore—from the foyer to the theater—into hybrid environments blurring the line between fiction and reality, serving as platforms for the exchange and dissemination of artistic research processes.
The settings for this edition will be the “Parking Lot” and the “Observatory”: thresholds that shape bodies and postures, inviting a rethinking of how one positions oneself in space and how practices and materials are shared within the collective dimension of the Camping. Through this sharing of research practices and materials, these spaces will be activated by the temporary community of artist-researchers, participants, and visitors who inhabit them.
