A dark space in which sound is spatialized through the choreography of bodies. An immersive moment in which the audience experiences an acoustic mapping of space.
The performance takes shape in darkness, understood as an active perceptual condition. A darkness that suspends vision and creates cracks in the relationship between listening and space. The body becomes a sensitive surface, traversed by pressures, currents, vibrations, entirely situated in the dark. As happens in the wind or rain, the environment becomes audible according to a transitory dynamic: it arises and disperses, only to arise again, elsewhere. Sounds settle on this black carpet and mark it, offering orientation, contact, a restitution of one’s presence in the performative space. In this perceptual threshold, listening takes on a meditative quality, not through abstraction, but through abandonment to the sonic materiality of darkness, unresolved and unstable. Sound objects are presented as agents capable of concretely modifying the acoustic environment; their resonance becomes a field of relation in which tensions, frictions and material densities emerge, both harmonic and dissonant.
