The Canadian author brings the immensity of an inner sea to the stage: with Unarmoured, Furey explores infinity as a transformative emotion and redefines eroticism, freeing it from conventional sexuality and social projections to lead it into an abstract, fluid, and universal dimension. In an artistic exploration that awakens dormant desires, the performers vibrate to the rhythm of waves of light and sound in an immersive composition created by musician Tomas Furey. The body becomes a shifting architecture, wave and rock, vase and water, in a constant dialogue between matter and void. Through musical theory, physical research translates into shared polyphonies and rhythms, transforming mutual listening into a practice of profound connection. The collective of queer performers brings fragments of their own stories and healing journeys to the stage, making the notions of care and empathy visible in an experience that transcends the boundaries of individuality.
