Doriana Crema
Dancer, choreographer, trainer and counselor, she has been active in the artistic and pedagogical field for over 30 years. She combines her skills in the direction of an evolutionary vision of the human being. At the center of her research are the space and the human, in their complex relationship with the body, the presence and the movement. In recent years she has focused her attention on the question of resonance and response, working on the borderline between dancer and spectator. Among the most significant meetings from a training point of view there are those with Anna Sagna for dance theater, with Raffaella Giordano (under her direction Doriana Crema was an interpreter for the shows Quore – awarded with the UBU prize in 2000 – and Senza Titolo), with Claude Coldy for sensitive dance and with Danio Manfredini for the theater. She accompanies many companies and individual artists during their creative processes and research, in Italy and France. She has been leading workshops in schools of all levels for over 3 decades: she is currently active in high schools as part of the Educating to Beauty project | Media Dance project by Lavanderia a Vapore (EDN network member), as a trainer and a coordinator, with class-groups and teacher-groups. With Raffaella Tommellini and Fabio Castello she curates Solitudo project. Visions for a creative community. With Rita Fabris she is the creator and one of the trainers of the Community Dancers Path. She collaborates as a trainer within Tracce lasciate ad Arte Interreg project Italy Switzerland and within the Educators Without Frontier project by Exodus. She is choreographer of Eskenè group, for the projects La Passione secondo Matteo, Stazionando and Progetto 900. She performs the solos mama non mama, Specifiche Atipie e Dichiarazione d’amore within La Piattaforma festival in Turin. She practices counseling and she is a trainer at the Higher School of Counseling in Turin.
